Onboarding: An understanding of what Petin is all about
As a Petin UX/UI Creator and Designer, the goal was to ensure that new users immediately grasp Petin's mission of promoting responsible pet adoption and supporting animals in need. It was crucial to create an engaging and informative onboarding experience to retain new users and foster a connection to the brand from their very first interaction.
This initial engagement was designed to build a strong emotional connection and provide personalized content that would enhance their overall experience with the app.
Wireframing
The Wireframe was designed to build the structure and architecture of the information and only then go to visual and interactions.
Colors
The brand’s guidelines for Petin led us to choose a playful and inviting tone. We selected purple, yellow, and pink in various shades, from light to dark, to create a youthful and remarkable brand identity.
Purple was chosen to bring a sense of creativity and compassion, breaking the white background and making the brand stand out.
Yellow adds a warm and welcoming feel to the interface, contrasting beautifully with the illustrations and other design elements.
Pink was included to evoke feelings of love and care, essential emotions for a pet adoption platform.
For text, a much darker variation of purple ensures readability and contrast, achieving appropriate levels of accessibility. These colors work harmoniously to make Petin not only visually appealing but also emotionally engaging, enhancing the overall user experience.
Importance of Onboarding for Petin
The onboarding process is vital as it educates users about Petin's mission and the various ways they can contribute.
By using engaging images and clear messaging, we aim to inspire users to take immediate action, whether that’s adopting, sponsoring, or donating, thereby increasing user retention and fostering a deeper connection to the app’s goals.

Streamlined Treatment Funding
This section features a clear and interactive interface, displaying each pet's required treatments with a progress bar showing the amount needed and raised. This transparency and ease of use ensure donors feel connected and see the direct impact of their contributions, enhancing their overall experience and encouraging more support.
Enhancing User Interaction
At Petin, the user experience is designed to be seamless and engaging, ensuring that every interaction is intuitive and rewarding.
